Treatments to Get Rid of Cellulite
Cellulite has always been an undesirable condition to have since it is aesthetically unappealing. With the latest advances in technology, now there are many new methods and treatments to get rid of cellulite. Many of these methods have proven to be very effective in diminishing and getting rid of cellulite. Some of these methods are more expensive than others, but that does not mean that just because a method is expensive it will work best than a treatment that is priced in a moderate range. In fact, some costly methods to get rid of cellulite offer little improvement on the condition. Other less expensive methods, such as some topical creams, offer better results.
Here are some methods and treatments to get rid of cellulite:
Two methods that treat cellulite, but that are costly, are mesotherapy and lipodissolve. The cost ranges between treatments, but expect to pay $400 for a treatment, and a total of $4000 for ten treatments, to see some results. These methods are similar, but differ a bit in results. Mesotherapy may be a bit more effective. In these methods, a solution is injected into the skin to break up the deposits of fat that form the cellulite. These methods give results, but the drawbacks are that different doctors use different solutions and the FDA does not regulate these. Some serious allergic reactions may occur.
Liposuction is another surgical procedure that costs around $2000-$5000. It is expensive and may offer results for removing the fat in the deep layers of the skin, but not the fat in the under layer of the skin, which is where cellulite deposits lay. Liposuction may make cellulite more noticeable.
Endermologie and massage are methods used in spas to make cellulite less noticeable. Because the skin is plumped when massaged and when treated with the endermologie machine, the appearance of cellulite is reduced. However, this effect is temporary and the fat deposits remain. In theory, when the skin is manipulated, so is the fat deposited in between the layers of skin, therefore, letting the fat escape and being flushed by the system. This method is expensive at around $100 a session. You may need many sessions to see results, and the results are temporary.
Laser therapy is another method that is the result of the advanced in technology. This is a costly method at around $1000 a treatment. The results
are temporary and you may need about 10-15 treatments to see results.
These methods are costly and temporary. Price is something to consider if you are in a budget. There are creams and solutions, which are effective in the treatment of cellulite and cost much less. You should consider these creams as an option if you are in a budget and want to get rid of cellulite from the comfort of your home, at your own time.
